Sara Garcia Joins NBC Drama Series ‘The Hunting Party’

Client: Sara Garcia – Talent

Patrick Sabongui (The Flash) and Sara Garcia (Ride) are set as series regulars, joining Melissa Roxburgh in NBC‘s new drama series The Hunting Party.

Created by JJ Bailey who wrote the pilot episode, The Hunting Party is a high-concept crime procedural about a small team of investigators who are assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers our country has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from a top-secret prison that’s not supposed to exist.

Garcia will play Jennifer Morales. A bright and natural optimist despite her tough upbringing, Jennifer is an intel officer and major in the Army.

Sabongui portrays Ryan Hassani. Rugged and world-worn but with a casual air, Hassani is a CIA agent tasked with managing the crisis.

The Hunting Party, which received a straight-to-series order, is executive produced by Bailey and Jake Coburn who are writing and co-showrunning together. Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, is the studio.

Sabongui’s notable television credits include Homeland, Shameless, Firefly Lane, The Flash for nine seasons, and Shooter. He has appeared in films including Godzilla, 300, Drone, Watchmen and Sucker Punch. He’ll next be seen in the upcoming feature In Cold Light, with Oscar winners Helen Hunt and Troy Kotsur, and Beyond Borders, a true story about an Armenian refugee family seeking asylum. He’s repped by Innovative Artists, RED Management and Mark Temple.

Garcia’s previous credits include a guest star role on Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, a two-season run on The Flash and a series lead in Hallmark’s Ride. Other recent credits include a series lead role on Netflix’s animated series Unicorn Academy, My Little Pony, among others. Previously, she co-starred on Reign, Falling Water, Stickman and X Company for CBC. She’s repped by Grand Wave Entertainment.
