The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, October 2, in Los Angeles at LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes.
“After two years of streaming celebrations, we are ecstatic to be back in person and to honor those who made significant contributions to the television, film, and streaming spaces. With the caliber of talent and the diversity of the roles and projects, our expectations were wildly exceeded with 445 entries, up 125 from 2021! We are beyond proud of this year’s nominees and all those who submitted. Given the excellence of the entries, the judges had a difficult time selecting those to be nominated.
Congratulations to all of this year’s nominees!”
The Imagen Awards continue to recognize and highlight the powerful work driven by top Latino talent, emerging faces, and seasoned creatives, which are overflowing in this year’s nominees and include Disney+ and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Encanto and the hit movie In The Heights from Warner Bros.
