Amazon MGM Studios‘ Sterling Point is rounding out its lead ensemble cast with Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie (A Colony), Keen Ruffalo (Hal & Harper), Bo Bragason (Renegade Nell), and Daniel Quinn-Toye (Badults). They join the previously announced cast of Ella Rubin and Amélie Hoeferle, who will portray Annie and Ramona, respectively.
The YA drama series Sterling Point was created by Megan Park, who will also direct and executive produce. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the series is described as an ensemble drama with comedy and heart about sisterhood, nature vs nurture, complicated family dynamics, and grief. It is believed to follow Annie (Rubin), who, alongside her twin brother Connor, was raised in New York by their single dad before they found out that their estranged grandfather left them an island on a lake in his will.
Whiteduck-Lavoie will play Ellis, Ruffalo will play Connor, Bragason will play Oona, and Quinn-Toye will play Rory.
Park executive produces and co-showruns alongside Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage of Fake Empire. Amazon MGM Studios is the studio. LuckyChap executive produces under its first-look television deal with Amazon MGM Studios, reuniting with Park after the company, led by Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara and Margot Robbie, which produced her breakout hit My Old Ass.
Whiteduck-Lavoie is repped by Agence Duchesne & Associées (ADA) and Luber Roklin Entertainment. Ruffalo is repped by Strand Ent. Bragason is repped by Conway van Gelder Grant (UK) and Sugar 23. Quinn-Toye is repped by Independent Talent Group.
