'White Collar'

 

EXCLUSIVE: USA Network has reupped "White Collar," ordering 16 episodes for a fourth season.

From Fox Television Studios, Gotham-based skein continues to be a hit for the basic cabler. This summer it averaged 5.7 million total viewers and 2.5 million in the 18-49 demo.

Production on the fourth season will begin in 2012. The second half of the third season (six episodes) will likely air early next year.

Matt Bomer stars as a charming con man who works with FBI agent. Jeff Eastin is creator and exec produces with Mark Goffman.

USA Network, which had a strong summer overall, recently ordered second season of freshmen show "Suits" and announced the fifth season of Mary McCormack starrer "In Plain Sight" would be its last.

"We're thrilled to offer our viewers another season that promises some of the best writing in television, unexpected twists and generous helpings of America's favorite bromance," said USA Network co-presidents Jeff Wachtel and Chris McCumber.
